Take one 'Signal and Pattern Generator' from mum's attic, add a sepia tint... and you're back in the 1940s. (I was taking photos to put it on eBay - cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2200207..., in case you wondered).
