Santiago at night, Chile
The photo was taken from the Sky Costanera tower in Santiago's central business district. At 300m, it's the tallest building in Latin America and the second tallest in the Southern Hemisphere. It had rained the night before, so the view was really clear (no smog). We arrived late in the afternoon to see the mountains turn pink as the sun set, before the city lights emerged through the dusk. Santiago has a stunning setting, with the Andes forming a wall along the east side of the city.
