First upload with the new Nikon Df. I've sold the Fuji for various reasons, not least amongst them the fact that it was splitting up my available funds buying prime lenses for two systems. Thus far the Df is everything I had hoped for. Full frame in a lighter body, weather sealed and with excellent image qualiy. The files are certainly easier to work with in Lightroom as well. The high ISO performance is rather stunning as is the amount of detail that can be pulled back at higher ISO's. This image was a first visit to Sunbiggin Tarn at dawn today. I would have preferred a tree with more character and maybe slightly different placement so the Howgills were more prominent but I still like the mood as the first sun hits everything with the mist from the tarn receding in the background.
