Three Men on Quads
The end of the year and going through all my images to gauge whether its been a good year or not. I think I managed to count up to 12 keepers which is in line with my aim of one a month. However, I never looked at this one as it didn't appear anywhere in my Flickr stream. I took this one snowy day at Haweswater when the road was closed. I wanted to go up the Old Corpse Road and get some interesting shots. I liked the look of the road snaking through the shot so set up to take a simple picture. At that point I heard the sound of engines revving, looked up and saw three guys on quads having a great time coming up the road. This was taken with the Nikon 105 f2 DC which for some strange and unaccountable reason I have just sold.
I also need to apologise to the folks who commented on the last Skye upload. When I looked at it again a wee while after uploading it I just thought it was a wee bit too much of a copy of other folks stuff and removed it.
