42. Putting your gocco to bed

I place a piece of looseleaf paper on top of the sticky pad before putting my gocco away. Also, remove your batteries in case of accidental leakage.

 

Make sure the glass is clean so that it doesn't affect the burned images later on. I try not to touch it, and clean it with glass cleaner if it needs it. I think Windex may be okay too, but I'd have to check. Anyone know?

 

Please note: If you find your sticky pad is not as tacky, I believe you can wipe it down with a little bit of water. Dry it and it should be back to normal. The pads should last for about 5 years.
