Breakfast time in the backyard

We often find a kookaburra sitting on our clothesline. This beauty came in this morning in search of his breakfast.

He sat on the clothesline for a while and then spotted something in the grass. I wasn't quick enough to catch him swooping for his food, but did get a shot of him swallowing the last of a tasty morsel.
