experiment swatch

trying to make a knitted version of the woven fabric in the upper right hand corner. (the woven fabric is from the Fellowship cloaks in the Lord of the Rings movies.)

the knitted pattern shows up when viewed at an angle and almost disappears when viewed head-on. I like this a lot! thinking about making a small blanket/large wrap with the pattern.
