A Trip to Liberty Square in Downtown Manhattan 9.25.11

This was the first time I went down, and I was distracted by other things along the way. When I actually got down there, things were fairly quiet. It was so odd now to go through these photos and be hit by the various visual contradictions that abounded downtown during this time. When I went down the second time on October 16, 2011, things had gotten more "organized", and it had become more of a media spectacle. Other things were going down as well among the Occupy Wall Streeters themselves, and it was interesting to be able to capture an image or two regarding that drama. It was also interesting to "witness" it first hand. I will be creating another album with that set of photos as well.
