European Starling 5.3014: "Hangin' Out"
I finally was able to get closer to the starlings tonight, and this photo marks the start of my adventure with them. They were such a riot, there were so many, and SO LOUD! For those of you following my photography here, remember how I mentioned that they tend to move in packs? Well ... the garden park was packed with packs of them tonight! And one little guy in particular, was singing at the top of his little voice. He was performing his mating call. It was such a hoot. This little guy was hopping all over the place, and so fast! I managed to catch him here before he sped off again. © Maria Dorothea Campbell 2014
