Garden Squirrel 4.19.14: New Friend?
When I turned away from the bushes where my little pal disappeared, I came across this "picture". This little guy had been watching us, and it looked like he wanted to get in on the action. He stuck around me for a while, but when I got a bit more forward about taking his picture, he got a bit shy. This is not a great photo of a bird, and I've never done birds intentionally, but I wanted to show proof of what awaited me at what I thought was the end of my adventure. Next time, it will be with a more appropriate lens, though probably not completely. I guess I'm just going to have to get creative. I will find out more about those things at Bryant Park during their Bird Watching Tours and through experimentation. © Maria Dorothea Campbell 2014
