The Reality of Cats: Calypso's Kittens (3 weeks old!) 7.3.08
PJ queen of the hunt munching on a bird here. Unfortunately, I wasn't prepared to shoot when she started her meal, and only caught the end of it. She was putting on her presentation as a gift to me. She knew how much I loved to watch her go for the kill! After all, it was in her nature to do so! And besides, she wanted to show these new kittens a thing or two. Don't think that human newborns are the only ones that present problems in families. It's the same for cats. Luckily, PJ had a very good nature. Her response would always be to just show off, but not hurt. She actually ended up really loving these kittens, and they loved her too, from the get-go. Calypso was the only one who initially posed a pretty big problem. Oh, and I didn't have my digital SLR that weekend, so I had to make do with my point and shoot.
