Funerary Roses 10.30.04
I know that these days all my flowers seem like perfection. But when I captured these roses in the Middle of October and after much rain, I found something both beautiful and sad in them that was worthy of sharing. It's not often such a picture can be captured on "canvas" (and with the requisite cobwebs to boot)! And of course this was also part of the Dead and Undead 2004 series, which overlapped in creation with the Halloween 2004 series. This one ended up in both! © Maria Dorothea Campbell 2004
