MCCS Volunteer Appreciation Reception
Virginia Beach, Va. (April 13, 2014) - Marine Corps Community Services along with the Marine commands from across the Hampton Roads took time to recognize the hard-working people who volunteer to support the Hampton Roads Marines and families through various Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) programs. During the ceremony, each unit’s commanding officer presented their command's volunteers with a certificate of appreciation and a small gift provided, by MCCS.
The commander of U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command, Lt. Gen. R.T. Tryon attended the event with his wife Diane, and took the time to thank the volunteers for their continued support of the Hampton Roads Marines.
