Shinjuku
Kabuki-Cho’s neon lights seen from Yasukuni Boulevard in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
Right half which is filled with brilliant lights is one of my favorite cityscape in downtown.
Left half is a reflection in the metallic board I found at the but stop by chance.
I’m glad if you could feel the unique atmosphere of Kabuki-Cho, which is often called the town that never sleeps.
By the way, the district's name comes from Kabuki, classical Japanese dance drama as you may know.
Late-1940's plan to build a kabuki theater in Shinjuku wasn't successful, but only the name stuck here.
