[Facebook post] What follows are a few photos of the Window of Remembrance at the Gedenkstätte Berliner Mauer (Berlin Wall Memorial) in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district. It consists of portraits of the 136 people who lost their lives at the Berlin Wall during the division of Germany. I included a long shot of the entire window for context. But I also wanted to feature a few closeup photos of the individual victims since the purpose of this part of the memorial is to allow us to remember them as individuals.
