Like a knight in shining black armour, proudly wearing his prominent orange bill and yellow eye ring. Busy times for the Blackbirds these days. After a few difficult years due to a nasty virus (yeah, they too... ), transmitted by mosquitoes, they seem to be back in numbers and strength in our parks.
