Don Quixote in Amsterdam
The ballet "Don Quixote", loosely based (very loosely) on Cervantes' famous book, returns to the stage in Dutch National Ballet's beautiful production. Music by Ludwig Minkus. Production and choreography by Alexei Ratmansky, based on Marius Petipa and Alexander Gorsky. The ballet was first performed in Moscow in 1869.
