Resting @ Wutachschlucht

I was hiking through this magnificient gorge of the Wutach-river in the German Südschwarzwald-national park. The hike follows this gorge for many kilometers and is a real pleasure to walk.

 

You can combine hiking through the Wutachschlucht with many walking through other gorges by trekking over the Schluchtensteig, a 120km long distance trail through this beautiful area.

 

I took this shot when resting on the rocky riverbank and enjoying lunch. I think hiking and photography are a perfect combination ;)
