Liquid Ice

Went 'backcountry' camping two summers ago at Bruce Peninsula National Park (a 1 hour hike to the site), we were there for only one night (or two, can't remember), and boy were we lucky with the sunset! I used Fuji Velvia 50, a tripod, and about a 30 second exposure, which is why the water looks like plastic or ice (it is definitely not frozen...I swam in it quite a bit with zero hypothermia). What makes it looks like blocks of ice is the fact that there are big rock shelves extending into the water. I also had a 1.5 or 2 stop ND graduated filter on the sky to balance the exposure between foreground and background. I was using a Canon Rebel S (a very crappy film camera) and I think a 50mm f1.8 lens (which is pretty decent).

DMU....I expect many 'sunset=autodelete's but please, let me know what you think!
