MEHNDI

My sister is fond of getting Mehndi (Henna) design done on her hands. I took some shots of henna design and i really liked this one.

 

On 13th August we will be celebrating "Raksha Bandhan" festival or the festival of brothers & sisters. On this day sisters tie-Rakhi: a beautiful decorated thread on their brother's wrist and wish them good luck and in return brothers give gifts & promise to their sisters to protect them throughout lifetime.

 

Also on 15th August we will celebrate India's 65th Independence Day.
