Was wäre die drupa nur ohne unsere Techniker? Sie bauen die Maschinen schon weit im Vorfeld auf und installieren die neueste Elektronik und Software. Während der Messe sorgen sie dafür, dass alles reibungslos läuft, erklären Kunden und Besuchern die technischen Details und demontieren alle Exponate nach Messeende. Die Interne Montage Rolle von manroland, unter der Leitung von Michael Gnädinger, läuft ein wenig im Verborgenen. Dennoch liefert sie die Basis, auf der andere Abteilungen wie beispielsweise der Vertrieb und das Produktmarketing hier in Düsseldorf ihre Arbeit aufbauen.
Insgesamt haben die Techniker 150 Tonnen Stahl und die komplette Elektrik montiert. Hierzu gehören: eine COLORMAN mit 70 Tonnen, das Falzwerk mit 50 Tonnen und die LITHOMAN mit 30 Tonnen. Das Montageteam wechselte während der drupa zu Demonstrationszwecken rund 5.000 Druckplatten an der Zeitungseinheit und etwa 2.000 Druckplatten an der LITHOMAN-Druckeinheit. Nach Hause geht es für das Team nicht am 11. Juni, wenn die drupa endet, sondern mit dem Abschluss der Abbauarbeiten am 21. Juni.
What would drupa be without our technicians? They set up the presses long before the show starts and install the latest electronics and software. During the show they make sure that everything runs smoothly, explain technical details to customers and visitors and dismantle all exhibits after the end of the show. manroland’s Internal Assembly Web which is headed by Michael Gnädinger, is working a little secluded. Still it delivers the basis on which other departments such as sales and product marketing establish their work here in Düsseldorf.
Altogether the technicians installed 150 tons of steel and the complete electrical system. They consist of a COLORMAN of 70 tons, a folder of 50 tons, and a LITHOMAN of 30 tons. During the show the assembly team changed around 5,000 printing plates on the newspaper printing unit and approximately 2,000 on the LITHOMAN printing unit for demonstration purposes. The team is not going home on 11 June when the show ends, but on 21 June after having finished the dismantling works.
