Man of Yorkshire
Yorkshire Traction (National NBC) Leyland Royal Tiger Coach A71WDT, Wellington Street, Leeds.
New in August 1983 as No71 to Yorkshire Traction. I would guess this is 1984 as the coach looks pretty new. It appears to have the legend Yorkshire Traction on the sides rather than National or National Express but does have the NBC Venetian Blind stripes applied. Appears to have South West Clipper stickers in the upper Windcsreen and does that destination read Brighton?? Also, can anybody identify what the 'crest' or 'badge' is that is attached to the headlight grille which has 2 birds outward facing in blue and yellow? Wellington Street seems very tidy and modern in this photo yet cant have been far away from closure by this time. A nice array of Plaxton and Duple National Express Coaches add to the view.
