Bracklinn Falls, Scotland, January 2025

by Neil Fellowes

This is another return visit for me, albeit a quick 'un as we were just passing through on our Sunday adventure from the Falls of Falloch to the fabulous little town of Callander (I love this little town so much, I could happily live there).

The Bracklinn Falls lie on the course of the Keltie Water, where the river crosses the Highland Boundary Fault and the name of the falls apparently means "speckled or white foaming pool". Totally agree with the name, very apt.

The cold snap Scotland has been experiencing recently has meant a lot of frozen waterfalls and waterways, of which Bracklinn is one.

Beautiful place in a beautiful town and a location that you'll see me visit time and again.
