Caught in the act!
From my second shoot with Tara, and totally her idea. See, told you she rocks. :-)
Those of you who've tuned into even a few pages of my stuff on here will know I have a big thing for photographing the gentle and intimate side of women, and to try and treat them and their inner selves with some care and concern. That said, sometimes photos need a bit of a shakeup and something to make you sit back and pay attention.
All too easy to become achingly contrived in the pursuit of trying to cause a reaction, and for me personally, I think that's what I'm always most scared of. Provocation needs to be a by-product not the intention I think, and maybe somewhere deep under that process lies the trick to not becoming a cliché. But here, for nothing other than the reason a bit of bright colour and something unorthodox never hurt anyone, and it doesn't hurt to throw something different into the mix, here's Tara in her best 'come get me' heels and some smalls... :-)
Strobist/flash info: 580 EXII triggered via OC-E3 cord into Orbis ringlight adapter, mounted on Orbis arm for that bit of low level flexibility. Power was about 1.4 from memory...
