That ^^^ means no flashy logos or daft graphics please!!
Have a little more Ella then. Aren't I generous!? ;-)
Full thanks go here to a friend Chris, who as well as sorting out initial contact with Ella, also found this location. It's apparently a fave with wedding photographers, who go there to do 'trash the dress' and other achingly corny and overdone crap with weddings. For us, we scouted the day before, saw a dude doing his spray artist work stuff, and came back with Ella and her mum on a dingy grey Friday afternoon.
But honestly, you don't need immaculate weather if you're creating your own lighting. So ambient stuff, and some ringlight fill and we get this. At the time of shooting this I was in the middle of shoot number three with the ringlight and starting to figure it out a bit more. I love what it does basically, and hope with practise, I can master how to exploit it more and more.
As for Ella, well she's a star really. No complaints when two scary looking ugly blokes dragged her in her heels through a disused building, no complaints modeling on a chilly afternoon, no questions asked when we set up odd stuff like this. And I mean, seriously, just look at her!? She's just one of those young ladies that just stands there, and will look like a goddess. You gotta love it and hate it equally. Makes for nice photos though! :-D
