Melbourne Reflections

While I was in Melbourne city over Christmas 2007 I was greatly affected by the song this city was singing to my heart and soul...

Reflections every where...
it was like I was walking in an old and ancient forest seeing the great trees being reflected in the rivers and streams...

It dawned on me that each era of buildings reflects what it has emerged out of...

The older styled architecture with its limestone or rock or clay brick structures with small windows usually had sculptured flora and fauna designs which reflect the original native vegitation that it had been constructed on and out of.

Where as these more modern constructions made out of predominately glass, metal and cement reflect those older original buildings of rock and clay brick but they also reflect light.

Light shadows shapes and creative forms and at the edges of all that light and shadows being reflected you can catch the spirit look back.
