the results of my very first wick printing process...
First experiment of wick printing with “Native Bush Juice”…
·* Container
·* Piece of old bath towel to fit into bottom of container
·* Piece of scrap fabric to fit into bottom of container
·* Lay native bush leaves, nuts or twigs onto scarp fabric piece
·* Poured in fresh water to just cover top surface of the leaves
·* Leave water to then slowly evaporate
·When the water level begins to drop down past the top surface of the leaf the water starts a viscosity
I may have reproduced the technique but at that point I had no idea why or what the unique elements were to its successes...
This began the next stage to the process of discovery...
