they came to say hello...arriving 1

prayed to see them,

wanted to show the world their beauty,

give a voice to their story,

realised I could make a video,

past memories,

hundreds and hundreds,

flocked together,

flying through,

at the changing seasons,

flying over head when a child,

calling all to listen,

flocks now dramatically reduced,

rare to see more than 20 birds,

now even flying alone,

not what they were created to do,

they mate for life,

very social,

shy creatures,

community minded birds,

calling human hearts,

stop and take heed.
