Pilbara Sand Pots stage1

paper pulp bowls created with red sand from the Western Australian North West country mixed into recycled white paper pulp.

 

inside effect...gum leaves where pressed into the wet paper pulp and the red sand poured over the entire exposed surface. When dried the excess sand that did not stick was shaken off and the leaves removed leaving this cave drawing effect
