special trees I met on my journey,

so many powerful river gums,

stretching along the mighty Murray River,

boundary line between states,

massive river catchment area,

pouring fertile soil out,

stretching into desert lands,

over millions of years,

now growing thousands of acres of table wine vines,

guzzling the mighty River gums precious water supply,

leaving them high and dry,

slowly dieing,

slowly falling away,

think about them,

when you next partake an Australian wine.
