in her life,

she fed and housed and supported,

millions of other life forms,

her fruit would have been abundant,

to feed the flocks of birds,

her bark would have been homes,

to millions upon millions of insects,

her leaves supplied air,

for human and animal life,

and food for millions upon millions of other insects,

her branches would have created shade,

and a cool retreat from the scorching summer sun,

her seed created the forest that surrounds her grave.
