Diagram 1…Thinking Brain
Starting with the most recently developed part of the human brain is the thinking brain. This brain is the only part of our different brains that has the super human power of language.
If a child cannot tell you why they are behaving in a particular way it is because they are having the experience in one of the other brains which do not have language.
Learning style for this brain is through the ear, listening auditory learning dominate. This style of learner needs extra support in
leaning through their visual/feeling and action/instinct brains.
When you ask this child a question their eyes will look to the side or straight ahead or from side to side (right brain dominate will look mainly to the right; left brain dominate will look mainly to the left; straight ahead is tricky because visual learners can also do this but can indicate a balanced listening brain style using both sides of the brain to think).
