standing before,

your sacred chamber,

your graceful post,

light defining,

shadows of former,

spenders,

spirits screaming,

to be heard,

to be given a voice,

beauty being attacked,

exploited at every turn,

still no understanding,

still sacrificing for humanities greeds,

still hanging on,

giving at every turn,

even after,

decades of abuse.
