Japanese Ink Drawing

"just imagine this painted on pale mauve silk''

for all my dear flickr friends in the northern hemisphere,

who sacrifice their sun light and warmth for us

in the southern hemisphere to boil all day

and them freeze...

this image of the very first sun rays hitting these beautiful green leaves of the mighty Jarrah tree is for all of you...

"If the Japanese culture had flourished on the West coast of Australia they would have painted these reverent images of the Jarrah leaves instead of there beloved bamboo."
