When l had missed capturing the moon tonight I found this huge amazing creature building a massive web in my back yard...his opisthosoma is a good center meter across and nearly 1 and 1/2 center meters long..then adding his legs and cephalothorax he is one huge spider...I had to get the husband to shine a torch onto him so I could get this image...my neighbours daughter was hanging over the fence laughing as all we could imagine was the spider was going to ascend straight down onto me and the camera...fun had by all...
