Grasstrees (xanthorrhoea) in the early morning light

for all of you who want to see the grasstree plants flower spikes that I have close ups of in my resent uploads this is for you...the three flower spikes on this one Grasstree means although the tree has only one black base trunk it has grown three branches hidden under the skirt of brown and green fronds...

especially for Thierry Reboton

 

I was going to cut my shadow out but it would have made the image out of proportion so my shadow will have to be like a water mark...hahahaha
