Australian trees,

drop only a few leaves,

all year long,

randomly chosen,

taking their turn,

brilliant yellows,

oranges,

reds,

falling quietly,

down to the ground,

slowly composting,

feeding the tree,

bark splits open,

shedding like skin,

revealing inner,

beauty.
