Kangeroo Paw

wildflowers,

bursting through the soil,

out of dull sticks,

exploding,

little bursts of joy,

vibrant colours,

exotic textures and forms,

all very small,

you will miss them,

bend down,

take time to see,

make an effort,

they are are there,

hidden,

its worth the struggle,

hunt them out,

they will be gone,

once the the sun hits,

zenith in summer time.
