The smallest unusual Library
Is this the smallest and most unusual bookstore or library ever? In the sleepy English village of Rotherwick in Hampshire, England, the villagers have converted an old red telephone box into a small book shop or Library. OK, it doesn't actually SELL books, but the idea is that the villagers, or visiitors, can borrow and exchange books, and donate books for others to read and exchange, so that there is a good turnover of reading material. Cute, no? :-)
The full text of the notice in the window reads as follows:
These books have been placed here for the enjoyment of village residents. If you find a book you would like to read - please help yourself, then return it for someone else to enjoy. Or if you have a book you would like to donate, please leave it on the shelf. Thank You!
