I had a morning on the Northumberland coast yesterday to a location I’ve always wanted to photograph but never got around to it. As a sunrise location close to the winter solstice it’s an easy for me to access, only an hour away on the road. The road being the A1, the great north road, the only thing great about is the level of non investment by successional governments. I had a good hour and half where I had total blue skies to nearly overcast. Here is an image. Nearing the end of that period at nearly 9:00 then I headed for a fantastic walk up to Embleton bay and back, then back on the road again for a much needed walk with Missy.
