Bonny evening
Down in Royston t looked like a bonny evening last week so I went for a walk with Toby.
After months of having to charge my old Nokia phone a few times a day I’ve succumb to buying a new phone. I’d put it off because I hate bedding in a new phone, downloading all the little apps I use, trying to remember passwords them give up and sync a new one. It’s probably because I used to work in IT I find this type of thing such a chore. I’ve decided to move up market a little this time as I always buy budget phones and usually not the latest model, so I’m getting a Google 7a as I like the size and was swayed by the camera, like I need another camera! The one thing I don’t like about this phone is the lack of storage and no external SD card facility. Because my primary IT skill was database management is probably why I crave for storage, I’m processed by Gigabytes. Back in the day my first database’s for a large utility company were lucky to be a couple of Gig in size, now I have terabytes all around me, so getting a phone with no SD card provision is probably a good thing to ween me off this storage addiction. I still bought another 1TB external SSD as it was going so cheap!
