Nigthmare before Christmas
Nightmare before Christmas. Following on from yesterday I can now report Hamish’s PCR was negative, or to put it in Hamish’s words to his Nonna, “Hello Nonna I’m positive…… Positive I’m negative”, Carla’s heart missed a beat, the wee scamp. So all looks in place and after many anxious days the plan is coming together. Then sitting waiting for my Saturday fry up I get the ominous “Malcolm could you come here please”, oh no wants wrong now, what have I done. Carla points to the cooker, a big Leisure range affair we’ve had for years. The main oven and the hobs have gone off, but the small oven is still working she explains, OMG the nightmare before Christmas. I’ve repaired this cooker a few times but I know straight away this is not an easy fix. I don’t know how to use this appliance, all I know it has something to do with all the amazing hot Italian food Carla places in front of me every day, but I do have a good idea technically how it works. A quick decision had to made, should I try to fix it, which would have been my plan any other time, or Carla’s idea, see who could deliver a new cooker by tomorrow. So now we wait on Curry’s delivering a new cooker sometime today, hopefully it should arrive before the Bristol Bawn’s land. Something I do get a say in is what photo should I post today, so from one storm in another here is another Arwen pic, I’ll let you decide what you can see in this wave, Carla see’s the White witch of Narnia, with her evil goblin in tow.
