Family time
Simla is notorious for its hordes of boisterous langurs and monkeys who roam the mountain sides and are occassionally a great nuinsance for both locals as well as tourists. Many monkeys have learnt the trick of snatching spectacles or other items and returning them in exchange for some food item.Once they had snatched Sanjay's spectacles when we were on a walk and returned it with the sides chewed only after we gave them a packet of roasted grams (chana).
On this visit there was a tall Deodar tree just outside our dining room window and a whole horde of around 20 langurs occupied it as soon as the sun rose.I took a few shots from inside the window with the window pane safely between me and the langurs. This is Mum, Dad and baby enjoying some family time.:-)
