Me Again Monday ~ gratitude
I have so many things to be grateful for. I mean, I've lost everything I owned, and I still have this really incredible life. I have family who loves me, adventures, creativity, art, a spirit continually kicked around and still standing, plus I have a handful of really great friends. My grandmother once told me when I was a child if I could count my friends on one hand I was very lucky.
Rita, is one of a handful I consider to be my friend. I never have to hide who I am, she may be just as crazy as me, and I don't have to pretend anything with her. Thank you Rita, for every minute I get to spend with you, for every minute makes me a better person, and enriches my soul.
If anyone is interested we'd like to kick some new life in the Me Again Monday Group, the list of themes for next year is being worked on as you read this, we're cooking up a scavenger hunt for 2015, and would love some suggestions.
