Ugliest building in town?
I find 60-s and 70-s architecture still fascinating and the better examples are still relevant in a timeless way...
The people who voted the Barbican Complex 'the ugliest architecture in London' have no clue and perhaps never went to experience it.
Perhaps not fashionable, but definitely interesting and attractive: not so much with the harsh concrete textures (some call it 'brutalism'), but more with the bared functionality that carries a certain elegance and... beauty.
Ugly? Pehaps we're talking of different buildings in different cities, on another planet...
