Taken last year during my photowalk with fellow flickr friends. We were so lucky to take a shot atop this 3-story building -- thanks to the chef who used to have this as her workplace!
This energetic, three-story, shopping/dining entertainment complex is a twenty-first century landmark that constantly tips its hat to the past. From the references to the set of D. W. Griffith's film Intolerance in the multi-story "gate" at the end of the courtyard and the elephant statues surrounding it to the stories captured in the "Road to Hollywood," this place constantly celebrates the film industry's past.
