Neues Palais

Neues Palais or the New Palace on the western end of Sanssouci Park, is a splendid complex from the outside. The building of this structure commenced at the end of the Seven Years' War (under Frederick the Great ), to celebrate Prussia’s success.

It is considered to be the last great Prussian baroque palace. Currently, the buildings are used by the University of Potsdam and are undergoing restoration.
