The Duomo

It is the heart of the Piazza dei Miracoli. The Duomo or the Cathedral is dedicated to Santa Maria Assumpta. The elaborately-designed building houses the tombs of St. Ranieri (Pisa's patron saint) and Holy Roman Emperor Henry VII.

The cathedral, similiar to other structures in Pisa, is also slightly tilting since its construction.
