Pause that Refreshes 4313

I paid a visit to my local regional park this past week. This wonderful young Red-Tailed Hawk practically greeted me in a tree right along a park road. I shot a few pics out the window before it flew off to another nearby tree. So … I took that hunkin' lens/camera to see if I could get a few more pics before it got impatient with me. I rattled off a bunch of nice portraits as well as the head scratch here; in fact, I got bored and started looking for the Acorn Woodpeckers in the trees overhead. Nice morning, got that Vermilion Flycatcher too. It's such a nice time right now, leaves falling, migrants coming in, White Pelicans, etc.
