When I saw this photo,it reminded me so much of the fingers of the great Austrian conductor Herbert von Karajan, who tended to have very expressive fingers when he worked. Here is a clip of him at the annual New Year's concert. It ends every year with this march by Strauss. Here you see the maestro's fingers in action.
